Casino-themed events from Winnipeg to the Bay

We are based at 154 Kelsey Blvd, Churchill, MB R0B 0E0, Canada — which is to say, at the end of the railway. Working across Manitoba and the north is not an add-on for us; it is the reason the equipment exists in the shape it does.

Why it matters here

Most entertainment suppliers quote the north once

Then they see the freight schedule and stop returning calls.

Organising an event anywhere north of Thompson means working with a supply chain that assumes you are somewhere else. Equipment is sized for a van. Crews are priced for a drive. Lead times assume a courier can make it in two days. When a company function in a northern community needs entertainment, the honest answer from most suppliers is no — and it usually arrives after three weeks of politeness.

We built the business from the other end. Churchill has no road connection, so every table, case and accessory we own had to travel by rail or by air before we could take a single booking. The result is a kit list and a crew that treat a fly-in venue as ordinary work and a Winnipeg ballroom as the easy version.

If you are organising in the south, that just means you get equipment built to a tougher standard than your room needs. If you are organising in the north, it means you get an actual quote.

  • Weather contingency built into northern bookings as standard, usually a day’s margin on travel.
  • Travel itemised — freight, transport and accommodation as separate lines.
  • Crew travels with the kit rather than hoping to meet it at the venue.

Regional questions

Coverage and logistics

Do you cover Winnipeg?

Yes, and it is our busiest market by a wide margin. Winnipeg venues are straightforward for us: road access, loading bays, service lifts and function rooms we have usually worked in before.

Travel from Churchill is itemised separately on the quote, as it is for every booking.

What about Thompson, Flin Flon or The Pas?

All routine. Northern Manitoba is where this business started and the kit was designed around exactly these journeys. We will tell you at the quoting stage what the travel adds and what the realistic load-in window is.

Can you deliver to a community with no road access?

Yes. Our tables break down into flight cases within standard freight dimensions, so they travel by rail or in a cargo hold. We have crew used to travelling with the kit rather than meeting it there.

Lead times are longer for these bookings — freight schedules rather than our diary become the constraint — so send the date as early as you can.

Do you work outside Manitoba?

We work across Canada. Outside Manitoba the only thing that changes is the travel line on your quote and, occasionally, the lead time.

Does winter affect bookings?

It affects logistics rather than the event. We build weather contingency into northern bookings as a matter of course, which usually means the crew and kit travel a day earlier than strictly necessary. That appears on the quote rather than arriving as a surprise.

Where is the venue?

Send the date and the format. If the venue is north of Thompson, mention it in the call — freight scheduling is usually the first thing we need to check.
