Process

Six weeks, or nine days if that is what you have

The sequence below is how a booking actually runs, including the two points where we are most likely to tell you something you did not want to hear.

  • Quote turnaroundOne business day
  • Planning callNo charge, no obligation
  • Site visitWhere distance allows
  • Written limitsBefore you sign, not after
Printed venue floor plan on a desk with table positions marked, beside a notebook and pen
  • 18+
  • Offline event entertainment
  • No real-money gambling
  • No betting
  • No cash prizes
  • No online casino

The sequence

From first message to a clean room

  1. You send four fields

Name, phone, event type and date. That is enough for us to tell you whether the crew is free, which is the only question that matters at this stage.

    Day one

  2. A planning call

Fifteen minutes, usually. We ask about the room, the guest count, what else is in the programme and what the evening is really for. There is no charge and no obligation.

    Within one business day

  3. The floor plan conversation

The first point where we may disagree with you. We will tell you how many tables your room genuinely holds, and it is sometimes fewer than you hoped.

    Day two or three

  4. A written quote

One document: format, table count, crew, timings, travel, delivery, and a plain list of what is excluded. The no-money, no-prizes terms are in it, not attached later.

    Day two or three

  5. Booking and paperwork

A signed quote and a booking retainer hold the date. Certificates of insurance go to your venue directly, and we will complete whatever vendor forms the venue requires.

    On confirmation

  6. The run sheet

Shared with you, your venue and your caterer. It marks load-in, doors, where the tables go quiet for your programme, open play, close and strike.

    Two weeks before

  7. The night

Crew arrives two to three hours before doors. Your named floor lead holds the run sheet and is the only person you need to find if something changes.

    Event day

  8. Strike and follow-up

Tables are packed, the room is left clean, and you get one email afterwards asking what we should do differently. Not a marketing sequence.

    Same night, then once

Where we push back

Two conversations we would rather have early

Both are easier before you have signed anything.

The first is table count. Guests do not stand in the table footprint, they stand around it, two deep on three sides if the table is working. That means a room that looks like it holds six tables often holds four comfortably, and six badly. We would rather quote four and have the evening work than quote six and watch guests shuffle past each other all night.

The second is the programme. If your run sheet has speeches, a plated dinner, an awards segment and a band, there may not be enough evening left for the tables to do anything useful. In that case we will say so, and occasionally we will suggest a smaller booking than you asked for, or a different format entirely.

Neither conversation is a negotiating tactic. We have no interest in delivering an evening that gets politely described afterwards as “nice”.

  • Floor plan first. Send a plan or a photograph and the guest count.
  • Programme second. Tell us everything else that has to happen that evening.
  • Then the quote. Written, itemised, with exclusions stated plainly.

Boundaries

What we will not do

Published here rather than left for a conversation on the night, because it has occasionally cost us a booking and that is the correct outcome.

No money at the table

  • No stakes, buy-ins or wagers of any kind
  • No chips for sale and no top-ups for money
  • No settlement, cash-out or payout at the close
  • No prize of monetary value and nothing redeemable
  • No arranging any of the above through a third party

No under-age guests

  • Every event is 18+, with no exceptions
  • We support your venue’s age checks at the door
  • Tables close rather than run for an under-age guest
  • We do not market to anyone under 18+
  • No imagery of minors in anything we produce

No pretending otherwise

  • No describing the evening as gambling in your materials
  • No “win” language in copy we write for you
  • No chips printed with values or currency symbols
  • No styling that imitates a real gambling venue
  • No online or app-based component — we operate none

These are contractual rather than aspirational — see the Terms & Conditions and the Responsible Entertainment notice.

Service limits

Offline entertainment only. This is strictly offline event entertainment. There is no real-money gambling, no betting, no cash prizes, and no online casino service. Guests play with symbolic chips and points that hold no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything of value. Events are for adults aged 18+ and over.

Symbolic chips only

Guests receive unmarked chips or points at the start of the evening. They carry no monetary value, cannot be purchased, cannot be cashed out and cannot be exchanged for anything of value.

18+, checked at the door

Our hosts support your venue in checking age on entry. We do not run events for under-age guests and we do not market to them.

Offline, in your venue

Everything happens in a physical room, with physical tables and a human host. We operate no platform where anyone can play, and no app.

Pricing

Quoted on request

We do not publish a rate card, because two events with the same guest count can need very different crews and kit. Pricing depends on event size, venue and chosen format, and we prepare a quote based on your bespoke event concept.

The planning call costs nothing

Even if you end up not booking, you will come away knowing how many tables your room holds and whether the format suits your programme.
