Floor plan
A drawn plan showing table positions, standing room, service routes and where the room will bottleneck before it does.
- Agreed with your venue in advance
- Accounts for catering access
- Honest about how many tables fit
Format 09 · Production
Floor plan, lighting, signage, branded chips and cards, a styled photo zone and the run sheet everyone else works from — delivered as a single piece of work.
Scope
Each of these can be bought on its own. Most clients take the lot precisely so that there is nobody left to coordinate.
A drawn plan showing table positions, standing room, service routes and where the room will bottleneck before it does.
Table and accent lighting designed for your room, or integrated with the AV supplier already in it.
Your mark on the chips, the card backs and the felt inlays. Unmarked by value, always.
A draped backdrop and discreet lighting next to the tables, styled down rather than up.
Table guides, directional signage and a standings screen if you want the evening to have a result.
One document covering load-in, doors, programme, open play, close and strike — shared with everyone involved.
The design brief
This is the instruction we give ourselves, and it rules out a long list of obvious choices.
There is a visual language that comes free with this theme — bright green felt, neon signage, oversized dice, loud promotional graphics — and all of it makes a room look like a promotion for something we do not offer. So we work the other way. Dark felt in slate and charcoal, brass and champagne accents, warm directional light, and your brand applied quietly.
The practical test is a photograph. If a picture from your evening could be mistaken for the inside of a real gambling venue, the styling has failed, regardless of how good it looked in the room. Guests should look like adults at a well-dressed private event, because that is what they are.
It also matters for anyone who has to approve the evening internally. A communications team that sees understated styling and no promotional language has a much easier conversation than one presented with a neon backdrop.
Details
Nothing shown carries a printed value, a currency symbol or promotional wording. Styling is deliberately kept away from the look of a real gambling venue.
Production questions
Chips, card backs, table felt inlays, table signage, the photo-zone backdrop, the standings screen and printed table guides. Lead time for custom chips and felt is usually three to four weeks, so this is the part to decide early.
Chips carry your mark but never a denomination or a currency symbol. A chip printed with a value implies something redeemable, and nothing at our tables is.
Either. We carry table and accent lighting of our own, which is enough for most function rooms. For anything larger, or where you already have an AV supplier in the room, we would rather integrate with them than bring a competing rig.
We will take a call with your AV supplier about power, rigging and sightlines before the day, which prevents the usual corridor conversation at 17:00 on the night.
We handle the tables, the crew, the floor plan, the lighting, the branding and the run sheet. Catering, alcohol service, venue hire and security are not ours, and we will not pretend otherwise by subcontracting them invisibly.
What we will do is write one run sheet that your caterer and venue work from alongside us, so there is a single schedule rather than three.
By keeping it understated. A draped backdrop, discreet lighting, your mark small, and no slogans. We do not build anything with oversized dice, neon, or the loud promotional graphics that gambling advertising relies on, because the brief is a premium event rather than a promotion.

Branded chips and felt need three to four weeks, so the earlier the date reaches us the more of this list is still available.
